CHRISTMAS!!

I sure am enjoying my first Christmas! I'm getting the hang of opening presents. I like boxes and wraping paper just as much as the toys!
Merry Christmas!

Too cute!

Well, I'm the outdoor type! I like to investigate everything these days. I tried to eat several leaves during the taking of this picture in my front yard.

I can crawl!

Well guys and gals, I'm mobile now! After quite a while of getting up on my hands and knees and rocking, I've finally put it together how to go forward. I can finally get to things that used to be out of my reach. It's a whole new world! I'm going to keep mom and dad on their toes! I'll keep you posted right here!

Triathlon

I got to cheer my dad, uncle Nick and Jerrod Siegel at their triathlon this weekend. We all had a great time! I can't wait to do one myself. I've got the hydration part down!

GO TECH!!

Get your guns up!!

This is a good week for my Dad's Red Raiders. They had a week off but because of the shake ups in college football this weekend, they find themselves ranked 7th in the AP poll! Cool!
Mom, the Aggie, isn't too excited about my new jersey but she's tolerating it OK.

Yea, I'm in Arizona!

Hey everybody! I made a trip out to AZ to see Lita and PapaZona. The flight was something else. Our 2 hour trip turned into 3.5 hours because of a thunderstorm. First we couldn't land due to the storm and then we had to wait for our gate. I didn't cause too much trouble other than my trademark squeal a few times. Once we finally got off I got to see my Lita and we went to her house. I'll be here for a bit having fun in the Arizona sun.

Blogging is hard work!

I apologize to all of my loyal fans that I haven't posted in a while, but blogging is hard work. Not only do I need my parents to take cute pictures of me (which they all are), but I also need to think of something creative to make everyone say "awww"! I'll try and be more consistent so stay tuned, guys and gals!

I went to visit my Gruncle (great uncle) Todd and Aunt Debbie and my cousins Grant and Nathan for the 4th. They took me to swim in the pool and I had a blast!

Go Rangers!

Hey Uncle Josh, I just wanted to let you know that I've been watching the Rangers lately. I can't wait for you to take me to a game like you promised. Can you believe that they've been turning this thing around? Maybe they'll win a World Series in my lifetime! What do you think?

Big Balloons!

We went to the Waxahachie airport this weekend and saw some big balloons! They were really neat! I got to hang out with my cousins Mason and Slade. It was lots of fun!

I love my Daddy!

I'm a Daddy's girl. I know he's going to be there to hold me, protect me and keep me safe. In fact, he's already said I won't be able to date until I'm 29. How's that for safe? Oh well, I know he means well.

For Father's day, we went to church and got to see the new auditorium. Then we went out to eat and got home in the afternoon for some "couch time." My daddy likes the couch a lot. It was a good day!

BOOORRRIING!

I spent the weekend at a chiropractic seminar with my mommy. Dad was there too, but he didn't have any food for me. He and I just hung out until it was time for me to eat. Then I would go back to sleep. Apparently I like to nap in class just like my dad.

I'm a travelin' gal!

Sorry that I haven't posted in a while, folks. I have been doing a lot of traveling lately.

First I went to Lubbock on Memorial day weekend for a Biles family reunion. I got to meet my great-grandparents (pics coming soon as I get them) and lots of others great aunts and uncles and cousins. We took a 15 passenger van and loaded it up with my granny and pa, aunt Laura and uncle Josh, aunt Leandra and uncle Nick and my three cousins, Cate, Layne and Olivia. Boy was that fun! I was so excited I would scream for hours on end!

This past weekend I left the state and headed out to Tuscon, AZ. My PapaZona was ordained as a deacon and it was the culmination of a 4 year process of study, prayer and discipline. He'll be serving at his home church in Sierra Vista, Our Lady of the Mountains. Of course now he'll be doing lots of prayer, study, discipline and service to the church. I know he's going to an awesome job. We love you PapaZona!

I traveled on this trip with my aunt Angie and uncle Anthony and my cousins, Emily and Haley. I got to spend some good quality time with my Lita and met lots of folks. We had a great time!

Bye for now! -Turtle

It's Mother's Day!

This is the first Mother's Day for my Mom and I want everyone to know how much I love her. She's the best! She keeps my dry, keeps my tummy full and knows just how to settle me down when I get fussy. I like to just look up at her and grin. I can tell what a special lady she is! Dad says we're both lucky. I say we're blessed!
I love you, Mom!

I'm gonna be strong!

Dad's been teaching me about Crossfit.

In fact, he was reading about how to squat , deadlift, and do pullups to me before I even got here. I can't wait till I can keep up with everyone, but for now I'm doing what I can. Lots of stretching, trying to hold up my head and get these arms and legs coordinated. One of my family friends who does Crossfit gave me a great onesie. It says- Crossfit Baby: I poop for time. Since most of the workouts from Crossfit are against the clock, Dad thinks it's funny. Thanks Barry! You can check out what I'll be doing at www.crossfit.com.

Time for church!

Well, it's Sunday and you know what that means. It's time for church! This was my first time to go to church with Mom and Dad. I met lots of people and was very good for the whole service. Mom didn't have to get up and leave once. Pastor Scott and Jenni were happy to see me again and Pastor Mark and his pretty shirt stopped to say hi.
Here's a pic of me and Mom. I'm wearing the dress that Uncle Nick and Aunt Leandra gave me that made my Dad cry when he saw it. I'm pretty in pink and green!
Lots of love,

My family loves me this much!

Let's face it, I know I'm getting by on my cuteness! It's the main thing I have going for me. I'm sure it will come in handy for many years to come!

It's been a while since I've posted, so let's get you caught up. I've had a lot going on in the last couple of weeks I've been around. My PapaZona came in from AZ and I had a blast with him and Lita. Of course, my Granny and Pa have been coming to visit too. Pa was just here today and held me during one of the quietest hours I've had all day. Dad said he could come back anytime.

I love my aunt Laura (even though dad says she's adopted) and uncle Josh! My uncle Nick and aunt Leandra are both really cool and they have lots of cousins for me to play with- Jodie, Layne, Cate and Olivia- I can't wait!

My uncle Anthony and aunt Angie haven't been able to make it here to see me yet...well they tried but I wasn't ready to come out before they had to go back to Aggieland. I'm sure I'll meet them and my other cousins, Emily and Haley, soon. We'll have lots of fun!

I have lots of other friends and family who have been visiting me as well. I'm so blessed to have lots of people who love me! Thank you all for being a wonderful part of my life!

Love, Turtle

Would you trust this guy?

Practice makes perfect.
Before my arrival, my parents tried to prepare themselves for what was to come. They got my room ready (with the help of friends), they got lots of stuff for me (with the help of friends), my dad even practiced holding and rocking me (all by himself).
But there were several things they could not have prepared for. Like how I enjoy being wide awake from 10pm to 2am every night. Like how I like to bounce, not rock (sorry dad). Like how I shriek all of the sudden without warning for no apparent reason (at least to anyone else). These are a few of my less than desirable qualities but I can assure you that I more than balance them out most of the time. Like how I whine in my sleep. Like how I hone in on mommy and daddy's voice. Like how stretch out my arm and legs and give a big toothless yawn. Like how I look so peaceful when I'm sleeping.
Yep, practice makes perfect. I'm definately giving my parents lots of chances to practice. I don't think they'll be perfect, but I'm sure they're going to try really hard!

More of me!

Well, since this blog is all about me, I'll keep the pics coming. This one was taken yesterday by my Aunt Laura. She's the best photographer I know. She even took great pictures of my mommy and daddy while I was still in mom's tummy. But hey, this isn't really about them so let's get back to me.

I'm really putting this beautiful picture of me to say hi to my mommy and daddy's small group from church. I was told that they were very excited that I was here. Especially since they were the ones that prayed and prayed and prayed with my mom and dad for me to be conceived. I know that God has placed me in a special place and I know that there are lots of people who love me and my parents. God is so good! Thank you guys for your prayers! I can't wait to see all of you!

Love,

Turtle
